This Could Be The Start Of Something New..

Well, the website is now updated and we have full control over everything. The past 6 months have been quite challenging setting up the business and learning all about non proven copyright, but we'll try and keep our first ever blog post free of those that have made the past 6 months so extremely difficult and time consuming.

The issues that have arose during the setting up of the business have been about the directory we had planned, so we took time away to reevaluate the entirety of the business that we want so dearly for ThirtyEleven Music Group to become. We're quite happy with the clear vision we've planned out going forward.

The official and only instagram account is having a bit of a spring clean, with posts heading your way daily. Instagram will be our main focus point as we believe it to be the central hub, it is also so easy to connect with people through it. We will in due course set up an official facebook page that will ultimately post the same as the instagram page, focusing on allowing our content to reach different people.

YouTube is set up ready to collaborate with musicians. This will mainly be used to show extended behind the scenes footage of their day. So predominately a 'Day In The Life' series, with the added extras such as live sets, interviews and footage from behind the scenes here at ThirtyEleven Music Group.

TikTok will mainly be spammed by us for the first 6 or so months until we get a good following on there, with little snippets of things and shorter day in the life videos. We are very much aware one video could go viral at any point on there but we need to focus our resources elsewhere until we get to a certain stage with the following on there. We've done a lot of research into TikTok and preplanned a lot of the content so this will be an ease to keep on top of.

We are currently in the process of contacting venues about our live events that we aim to begin this year. For now we are keeping it local here in lincolnshire to reduce costs and get the sector up and running. Live music is such an important part of the business, so this needs to be on the go as soon as possible. From the events you also then get content for socials so it kind of all just falls into place.

Once everything is set in stone and the business is really starting to flow, all of the artists we've been keeping a very close eye on in terms of our record label will then be contacted.

The directory is a bit difficult, we were absolutely bombarded by those in the events business about this. Our original plan was it to be free for life and have 10 acts per region, however conversations went on with the people above and it soon became clear there would be a lot of problems from them if we did this. So whilst we went away and reevaluated everything we came up with another idea for the directory. It will no longer be free and it will no longer be straight on our site, as soon as we are getting a substantial amount of traffic onto our site we will then reopen the applications for the directory. We've set a goal and believe it will be achieved this year and the cost will be worthy. Again, we'd like to apologise to those that applied before but it was completely out our hands. It wont be free anymore, but it isn't far off. There will also only be 50 spaces in total, but we will release more information as we edge closer to our targets before going live.

Lastly, a bit about this page, the blog! We’re so excited to be blogging all things music in general, we’re putting together a brilliant talented team to be able to provide you fortnightly blogs and eventually plan to have them daily.
